Another great golf game.

(- The Good -)

In-game graphics were simplistic but they worked well. Th emenu was also simple but effective. There were 18 courses. Most of them well designed and fun to play. The score sheet was clear and well presented. Good idea putting the average par at the end of the board.
The sound effects were good and well timed. The click of the ball and that familiar sound as it dropped into the hole. The game felt more realistic because of these effects. Making a scoreboard is also good, gives experienced putters a bit of competition.

(- The Bad -)

The menu, although effective was a little too simple for my liking.
There should have been more courses, and they could be varied like one in space, one in the snow. The obstacles you used were also pretty plain and basic. Towards the later holes, you could have included even more types of challenge.
There was no music either. you could have at least made an option for thos who were bored of hearing only the sounds of the ball ricocheting around the course.

A good putting game that I enjoyed. I also tried the online version but it was a bit slow so I'm sticking to this. Although your earlier versions were better than this one. Still a good game.

Great tutorial

(- The Good -)

Nice animation in the opening and the menu. Very smooth. The music was also very good. I like the font you used and how he altered the colours for the categories.
The information itself was explained clearly and it was easy to follow. Using this in the future wouldn't be hard at all. You covered all the most important topics well so there are no problems there.

(- The Bad -)

I didn't think there were enough labelled diagrams and the menus looked a bit untidy and cramped. Tutorials were flawless so no problems there.

The only tutorial that I will keep in my favourites and I will come to it whenever I need help. Excellent Contribution.

Great Idea

(- The Good -)

This really is a great idea, collecting all of NGs audio and throwing it together in a radio. I downloaded it and it was even bettter. The names of the artist and song came up and so did their profile pic. The music is all played at very high quality and the radio is very easy to use. Linking to the author's profile is also a nifty profile which will certainly come in ahndy at one time or another.
Not only does it work well, it also looks awesome. The layout would be very hard to improve and the design of the gadget looks really slick.

(- The Bad -)

The songs could have somehow been categorized in their genres, but it' no big deal because I understand this would take forever.
Having the profile pic of the artist as the background of radio's menu was not a good idea. Very rarely did the image blend well the writing and nobody really cares what picture they are using. This also obstructed the menu at tumes and made it hard to read the writing itself so as a whole that part of the NGAP radio was pretty pointless.

Looks great. Works great. Very useful.
I downloaded it and I turn it on everytime Media Player is screwing around or I am bored of my own songs. Nice.

Amazing tribute

(- The Good -)

Where to begin? The graphics were a spot-on version of Metal Slug and I loved the smooth animation. The enemies and landscapes were drawn perfectly and I really thought I was playing the original MS. The weapons were a delight to handle and the levels were structured very well, making the game interesting at all times and not in slightest way boring. The music was appropriate and the sound effects were perfectly timing. They too had that MS feel. Not too realistic and could be described as "wacky"
Everything about theis game is awesome from the way ythat the bullets flew through the air to the way that the enemies grunted when they were killed. Now for the bad...

(- The Bad -)

Well the menu was in, (I won't say chinese) a foreign language so I understood jackshit. The controls were a bit dodgy and hard to get used to. The game itself was a tad too hard and it was a chore progressing through the stages. There could have also been a level selector option at the beginning for thos who couldn't be bothered to play through the opening levels.
I didn't play through the entire game and up to the part I got up to the landscapes and enemies weren't very varied. If new soldiers, characters, weapons, items ans settings were introduced earlier, like for example the second level could have been set it in a completely new loacation like a cave, the audience would stay hooked and find the game even more interesting that it already is.
Lastlythere could have been a vague storyline inmcluded so players knew WHY they were going solo, blasting their way through
hoardes of enemies.

A technical marvel and an exquisite way to pay homage to one of the most loved series ever. You are GOD Miniclip.

Best RPG on NG

(- The Good -)

Graphics and animation are as smooth as hell. I could tell that you really took your time on making the game as good as possible. There are loads of weapon and equipment variations which I enjoyed collecting. The music while wandering around was very suitable and calming. The music when battling was also suitable and more exciting.
Animations in batttle were cool and the grid of spells was a good idea that worked well for me. Trying out a new technique was as satisfying as it should be so well done on that. Stats were hard to raise but this made the game even more pleasing when I raised a level.

(- The Bad -)

Not much here so I'll be picky. Walking around between battles felt sorta un-natrual and items were a bit too expensive to buy. It got very tough towards the end, trying to buy health potions with the minimal amount of money raised after victory. There could have been more ways to earn money apart from battling and transporting those leaves. Training was also pretty useless as it was VERY hard, wastes potions and is miles away from save points or the main battle portal. Oh and finally there should have been a password and username entry thing at the beginning so we couldleave the game and come back to play after a long time without starting again.

(-- Overall --)

All in all this is still my favourite RPG on NG. I first played it ages ago but I never left a review. I still come back in play this once in a while, even though I have to start from scratch every time.
Excellent.

Smooth

(- The Good -)

Well animated, it had good quality and the questions were pretty ood, and sometimes humorous. The music also suited the laid back style of the flash and I like the way you put links in the menu. Oh and the enlargement effect when I hovered my mouse over a button in the menu was neat and also smooth.

(- The Bad )

You could have at least let people know how many questions tey got right at the end. On that note there weren't enough questions and the quiz was finished within 30 seconds.

(-- Overall --)

Simple, unoriginal idea performed well but needs to be longer, so I stand by my score.

There are no right or wrong answers, it's a personality test foo.

Thanks for the review, Review Request Club rocks my socks.

Pretty dull

(- The Good -)

Not a bad idea, the flags were pretty creative and diverse. Presentation was neat and the layout was clean and tidy. For some random reason I liked the stylish circle when I got it right.

(- The Bad -)

It got boring after a while. The game might have been slightly different from most but that didn't prevent it from being dull. As milinko said you could have thought up of better distractions. And instead of spotting differences in flags, there could be some other scenarios like spotting the difference on a beach or something like that. The flash also needed music, the sound of my mouse clicking made it even more tedious.

(-- Overall --)

A promising idea, that is quite dull, but could turn into an innovative game if you thought about it more.

LuckyLollipopLad responds:

It's only 3 levels, and I didn't think folk would get bored of flags that quickly.

Also, I had them to hand, and they seemed good for the purposes of a test.

Once I get a properly working engine, I'll definitely start adding more interesting graphics/animation loops.

Glad you liked the presentation and mechanic, which is the only thing that'll remain in a few versions' time.

Stay funky!

Too easy

The game was good although far too easy, the animation was slick, and the presentation was tidy, you could have included an option to modify the difficulty by altering the speed of the cups. The title of the game is misleading, you should have thought of something else, also the music that you used was inappropriate, that track without the vocals, just an instrumental could have worked well.
Overall you made a solid game that people won't play for very long because of the low difficulty bar.

Aprime responds:

yeh :D

good idea in the instrumental bit

lool

Challenging

You put together an addicting but equally frustrating game, I soon lost intrest because of my over sensetive mouse, and I didn't want to change the responsivity in the control panel. However, I like the sound effects that you used, all very suitable, although you could have used colourful backgrounds and powerups, music would also help make the game more enjoyable.

Very bomberman

A great game with some nice cutesy graphics and good sound effects. The music was hilariously cheesy but at least you could turn it off.
Opponents ere very clever and hhard to dispose of, I think that you should have written the name of the powerup when it was collected, because there were quite a few and I couldn't remember what each one did.
I can't give you a higher score than 9 because the game is a spin-off, the crappy music lops off a point and so does the complicated, frustrationg, tight, maze- like level design.
So you're down to a solid seven. Well done.

Fuck the Rainforest.
